On the forehead of the mask is the Adinkra Sankofa symbol. The Sankofa symbol means to return and get it and symbolizes the importance of learning from the past. The color green is associated with growth, harmony, life, renewal and nature.

The cheeks of the mask feature textured beige, green and black colors. Made out of 100% Sese Wood. A beautiful piece of African Wall Decor.
